We are a group of auto enthusiasts who enjoy the little Metropolitan cars. Owners as well as Admirers are welcome in this forum.
Our Mission is to promote knowledge & awareness of the preservation of these amazing little cars, whether to original status or modified.
These Unique little cars were manufactured between 1954 and 1962; this little car called the Metropolitan was sold to over 100,000 buyers in North America and Britain. Thousands of these strikingly cute automobiles are still on the road today. One is my 1957 hardtop "Dino", built in England for the Nash Division of American Motors and imported to the United States for sale as the first compact car manufactured.
This sweet little car was promoted as the Secretaries car, a small car that even the ladies of the 50's could drive, park & commute from the suburbs to the city in conveniently.
